8-Week-Old Ronnie Is The First ‘Christmas Dog’ To Be Abandoned This Year

If you follow our sites and are reading this post, then we know we don’t have to tell you that dogs are a lifelong commitment. However, some people just haven’t quite figured that out, and it breaks our hearts.

Ronnie is only 8-weeks old and he was purchased online as a Christmas present. Just a couple days ago, he was left at Battersea Dogs and Cats in London because the new owner lost their place to live.

The tiny and adorable little puppy is currently at the shelter, getting ready to hopefully find his new and forever home. They believe that he could be ready for adoption as soon as next week.

“Ronnie has only been at home with me for one night but he is settling in so well,” said Battersea staff member Alice Holt, with whom Ronnie has been staying, to MailOnline.
“He’s so affectionate, even with new people, and loves a cuddle and a fuss. He also loves playing with toys and running around the kitchen. He’s such a sweet boy.”

  1. Selling any animal on-line needs to be out lawed….like this pup,,was there a child involved in this too??…so now, you have 2 cruel situations….Broken hearted child & a broken hearted pet. When are they going to pass the law about people cruelty towards animals. Jail time!!!!! never mind the fine,,,,make them be treated the same as what they did to the animal. And abandoning,,put that on the national media, like they do at DMV & income tax returns. You owe child support or have a warrant in another state or county, you are nailed. Where ever the animal goes when rescued, that money is paid back, or jail time. These laws have got to be paid attention to,,,,”We are our own worst enemy””….Now, get the gun law STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!
